Why start a softball clinic?

Join Our Team and Become Part of the Softball Family!

To ensure your child's safety we have two nurses at each clinic everyday. They are always there to help your child and have a complete list of phone numbers to contact you if your child si seriously hurt. We also have 10 cooks each location who prepare the lunches and snacks for your children. They make food ranging from grilled cheese to hot dogs and hamburgers. With everything in between including pizza, chicken nuggets, and mac n' cheese. The food varies per day and we give 3 options a day. On the first day of camp you will recieve a menu for the week. Your child is welcome to pack a lunch if they have a certain food allergy, but if you tell us ahead of time we can accomadate their needs! Now your probably wondering how we allow one-on-one time with each individual, right? Well we have 20-50 trainers/counselors each week depending on how many players sign up. They have all previously played softball at the college level or at least coached at the high shcool level.

So what do you say? Are you and your daughter going to become part of our team and sign up today? Or would you like to become a counselor for our camp?

We buy all of our foods from Sam's Club! The food options include:

-Smucker's Uncrustables

-Gold Fish

-Lay's Chips (Variety Pack)

-Lunchable's

-Gatorade

-Water

Our Current Team!

Steve Joncas:

He started his own business and was very successful, so I would go for him with anything related to promoting my business and making it successful. I would also ask him questions on how he made his business successful and if he had any tips for me on how to approach promoting my new clinic.

Valerie Carmichael:

I will go to her for help on getting well known softball players to the clinic and promoting the idea. She has a background in marketing and great negotiation skills. Her friendly attitude and ongoing optimistic view of life will help bring a positive energy to my employees and get more people interested in the clinic, With her skills I beleive we will be able to get the clinic started quickly!

Cheryl Ghanem:

She has a strong background in accounting and will be able to help my company financially. Since math is not my strong point she will be able to help track the cash flow each week and the profit margins made. I will be able to look up to her for help and guidance when doing financial reports and she will be in charge of the taxes each year.

I have either played, coached, or watched sports for the past 10 years. Soemtimes it was competitive and other times it was just a fun game put together by friends or family, but either way while playing that game you are connected to those on your team because you know that you must work together to be successful. I have played on both Junior Varisty and Varsity levels, as well as recreational. It's a simple concept that can often be mistaken by players, their ego, or the league. Sports aren't just about winning but taking the time to work with your team and improve as one, since you are only as strong as your weakest player. It's taking that extra minute to answer a question when someone looks to you for help, looks up to you, and wants to improve their game because they see the potential they have through you. That is why at The Next Generation of Players Softball Clinic we strive to improve each player individually as well as in team situations. We work hard to give one-on-one time to each player and answer all questions they may have.

From personal experience I know that it is important to receive this personal experience with the coach, as well as developing teamwork skills.  We allow both ways of coaching because just like in school, players learn and develop kills from different techniques of coaching. All of my experineces at camps were great and I want to make sure that every player attending my camp receives the same experience I did when I was a player.

Employees that will directly interact with parents and players include:

-Coaches/Trainers

- Nurses

- Food Prep Services

- Camp Directors
